After having Liberty in our home, this is what we know so far:
Age: almost five months old
Physical appearance: all white with some small light brown spots. She is believed to be lab/ mastiff mix. Her pretty green eyes are so expressive. She is between 25 and 30 lbs.
Walks: still a puppy, so she will zig zag if given too much lead. I'd suggest keeping her close by your side to teach good walking manners now. Bunnies, squirrels, and other barking dogs make her perk up and she may let out a bark.
Yard play: Again, still a puppy, so needs to be supervised. She is curious and will try to eat grass and wood chips. She loves to run and roll in the grass, so a fenced in yard would be ideal. Having her on tie out would make her frustrated.
Toys: she is teething, so we have given her a wide range of squeaky, to soft, to chewy, to hard toys.
Food: We made big progress by making her sit before receiving her meal or a treat. We are working on giving other dogs space when they are eating.
Crate: Not her favorite place to be, but she is getting better. We always give her a treat when entering the cage so she associates this as a happy place. She is always very anxious to get out.
Night time: We have been putting her in the crate at night and she will usually whimper a bit before calming down. Still working towards sleeping through the entire night, she usually makes it until about 5:30 or 6am.
Potty training: Only a handful of accidents in the weeks we have had her. When we go outside, she goes right to the grass to do her business. We take her outside often to limit accidents in the house. She is a consistent girl and usually goes to the bathroom in the same spot in the yard.
Commands: knows sit, and is responding to her name better
Other dogs: Really wants to be around other dogs. I'd love to see her in a home with another dog for companionship and cuddles. She is still learning to take social cues from her older dog companions. They try to tell her when she is being too rough or if they are ready to be left alone, but she still needs some reminders or a watchful human to intervene to give the older dog a little breather.
Cats: not observed
Kids: great
Likes: other dogs, being around people, and cuddling, cuddling, cuddling (see slideshow below)
Dislikes: when her food bowl is empty and being alone
