Finally writing this about a year after the pups were here. Taking care of three pups is a 24/ 7 job, so didn't have time to blog. After they got adopted, we took a quick vacay, and then my school year started... finally documenting their time here in this massive post.
July 12, 2021 I went to pick up my new batch of puppies. DDR had just done a pull from a shelter down south, so I had no clue what types of pups we were getting.
Staff asked me if I could take three "terrified" pups, and I agreed. Luckily my mom came with me during the pick up so I could have an extra set of hands.
The DDR office was loaded with crates with young pups of all shapes and sizes. I was led to a crate that had three pups all huddled together so so tight in a corner. It was hard to tell where one pup started and and another one ended. I had to crawl in the crate and peel them away from each other so I could carry them to my car.
Here they were on the car ride home.

Once home, they immediately needed a bath. Again, they were just a solid clump of puppies glued to each other, so scared. It was just heart breaking.
After the bath, they slowly started to explore their surroundings, but still liked hiding under or behind tables.
The pups spent those first few hours cuddled up and exploring some of the toys. As all of our puppies do, all three loved momma Jackie immediately.

In the coming days, we quickly learned that the puppies LOVED being outside!!!
