Ziggy's first sleepover party with us, there was more partying than sleeping. We kept him gated in our bedroom and hallway and he just couldn't settle on where to sleep. He'd sleep on the dog bed, then hop into the bed with me, then lay back on the ground. He just looked unsettled, which very understandably most of our fosters are on night one. Camping out for a few hours with him on the ground seemed to help him... can't say the same for my back this morning. ;)
He is getting more familiar already with different sounds in the house. Making breakfast this morning he was intrigued by the noises made by the dishes, eggs frying on the stove, the microwave, toaster, and coffee maker.

Today I tried conditioning him to work in the office with me. After some protest about being gated in the room with me, he fell asleep and is still sleeping by my side as I type.
