This evening, myself and two other foster families arrived at the DDR offices to receive some foster pups. We were told that DDR worked with a transport that brought some puppies up from down south. At this time, I don't have more details about their history. There were six puppies in the group, some black and some brindle, are about 12 weeks old. I was given two males puppies, Ruger and Nash. They were so quiet and calm on the short drive back to my house. |
When we got home, they were introduced to Jackie. Like always, she is VERY excited and curious when new fosters arrive. The puppies were SOOO happy to be out of the crate and have some space to run in. (Ruger has the white collar on in this video).
We tried to give them lots of time to burn off this extra energy this evening. They love to run in the yard and like all puppies we've had, they try to put anything in their mouth that they can- wood chips, grass, leaves... so I also got a small workout trying to catch them to retrieve these items from their little mouths filled with sharp puppy teeth.
