While undergoing heart worm treatments for the next few weeks, River needs pills with breakfast and dinner, about 12 hours apart.
She does take the pills if they are hidden on a spoonful of peanut butter, but she is soooo gentle licking the spoon, that I still need to pry her mouth open a bit to get some of the bigger pills in her mouth.
We've discovered that she LOVES sweet potatoes. We peel, cube, and boil it, and keep them in the fridge. When it is time for a meal, we shove a pill in a piece, place these in her bowl, and cover with her dog food, and she gobbles them up.
