We had a busy weekend. We were babysitting our friends' dogs and we had to go up north to check on the family property (don't worry, we didn't visit local businesses and followed social distancing guidelines).
Jack and Ernie are the little black furballs pictured below. They are sweet and sassy and snuggly, and have been a part of our fostering journey since the start over 7 years ago. They are well socialized and help us assess how our fosters do with male dogs and smaller dogs.
River does great in the car and enjoyed snuggling with any nearby dog. All dogs are older and well socialized, so they understand how to play nicely.
We've had younger fosters who do not respect personal space, and we see how this can be stressful for our dog at times. River does not fall into that category. She is very calm when meeting other dogs. She liked to have company, but isn't an "in your face" dog. I think she should blend in nicely with a pack of calmer dogs, regardless of their gender or size.
